Last year Coventry Creations presented their new Crossroads Candle, which included a ritual and a skeleton key, and we have brought it back again! I didn't get to do the ritual last year (they sold out so fast) but this year I managed to get one.

To begin my Crossroads ritual, I gathered dirt at a crossroads near my house. I collected dirt from all four corners and made my way back home where the ritual commenced. I originally thought that this would be the weirdest part of the process, but it turns out that when you live in a city, walking to the corner and taking spoonfuls of dirt is pretty calm, compared to the usual.

Now, August has been a busy month with a lot of change and a lot of strange energy (with a Mercury Retrograde to boot) and I bet quite a few of you are really feeling all stress and worry ALL THE TIME, and that's why I would recommend you do this ritual. I'm usually a pretty idle witch. I don't do a load of ritual work, but I'm very glad that I did.

It got me out of my head for a little while. I was able to focus on something that wasn't related to work or school, and in so doing, I was able to distance myself from some of my daily stresses. I focused and wrote out a list of my worries and stuck it under the candle holder after I set everything up, lit my candle, and it did not take very long for the magic to start working. What I got out of this ritual is my peace of mind, and a sense of comfort that the answers I found for questions I had asked were the right ones.

Another great thing about the Crossroads ritual is that the candle comes with a custom skeleton key charm that brought the magic with me wherever I went. Having that with me gave me a little bit more reassurance that I was going down the right path.

If you haven't already, you can get your Crossroads candle here, for it is the last time we are making the candle. And don't forget to subscribe to our newsletter for news on what's coming next at Coventry Creations.
