Achieve Bold Goals Candle Ritual for the New Moon in Leo on August 4, 2024

Leo's fiery energy encourages us to take the spotlight, showcase our talents, and pursue our dreams with confidence and flair. This is the perfect moment to harness that vibrant Leo energy and focus it into a powerful ritual that will propel you towards your most ambitious aspirations.

To make the most of this New Moon, we’re going to perform the Achieve Bold Goals Candle Ritual. This ritual is designed to help you dig deep, overcome any blocks, and set your intentions with clarity and confidence. 

You can choose any one of these three candles for this ritual: Let it Grow (New Moon – Astro Magic), Energy and Will (Blessed Herbal), or Road Opener (Aunt Jacki’s Hoodoo). Each of these candles will help you harness the dynamic energy of Leo and channel it into achieving your boldest goals.

Step 1: Ignite Your Passion

What You’ll Need: Your chosen candle, a journal, and a pen.

  1. Set the Scene: Find a quiet space where you won’t be disturbed. Light your chosen candle and take a few deep breaths to center yourself. If you don’t like silence, try listening to meditation music to add another element of positive energy.
  2. Visualize Your Goals: Close your eyes and envision your boldest goals. See yourself achieving them in vivid detail. Feel the excitement and pride as if they have already been accomplished.
  3. Write it Down: Open your journal and write down these goals. Be specific and detailed. If you’re stumped on what to write, think of what each of your 5 senses would experience. The act of writing helps to solidify your intentions and make them more tangible.

Step 2: Clear the Path

What You’ll Need: A bowl of water, a pinch of salt, and a small (water safe) stone or crystal.

  1. Prepare the Water: Mix the salt into the bowl of water. Salt water is a powerful cleanser, symbolizing the purification of obstacles.
  2. Identify Blocks: Hold the stone or crystal in your hands and reflect on any mental or physical blocks that might be holding you back from achieving your goals. It could be fear, self-doubt, or external challenges.
  3. Release the Blocks: As you focus on these blocks, drop the stone into the bowl of salt water. Imagine the water absorbing and dissolving these obstacles, clearing your path to success.

Step 3: Energize with Creativity

What You’ll Need: Colored pencils or markers, a blank sheet of paper.

  1. Get Creative: On the blank sheet of paper, draw a symbol or image that represents your goal. This doesn’t need to be a masterpiece. It’s about channeling your creative energy and making a visual representation of your intention.
  2. Infuse with Energy: As you draw, focus on the feeling of achieving your goal. Pour your excitement, passion, and confidence into the image.
  3. Display Your Creation: Place this drawing where you will see it daily. It serves as a visual reminder of your intention and keeps you motivated.

Step 4: Reflect and Recharge

What You’ll Need: A timer and your journal.

  1. Set the Timer: Set a timer for at least 10-15 minutes. This is your dedicated time for reflection and deep introspection on any remaining blocks.
  2. Meditate: Sit comfortably, close your eyes, and take slow, deep breaths. Allow your mind to drift and observe any thoughts or feelings that arise. Reflect on your goals, any progress you’ve already made, and any insights you gain during this time.
  3. Journal Your Thoughts: After the timer goes off, open your journal and write down any thoughts, feelings, or insights that came up during your meditation. This reflection helps you understand and overcome those tough blocks and keeps your intentions clear and focused. If needed, repeat Step 2: Clear the Path.

Step 5: Craft Your Action Plan

What You’ll Need: Your journal, a pen, and a calendar or planner.

  1. Break Down Your Goals: Review the goals you wrote down in Step 1. Break each goal into smaller, actionable steps. These steps should be specific and manageable.
  2. Set Deadlines: Assign a deadline to each step. Be realistic about what you can achieve and when. Use your calendar or planner to mark these deadlines.
  3. Prioritize: Determine which steps are most critical to your progress and tackle those first. Prioritize your actions to maintain momentum.
  4. Commit to Your Plan: Write a commitment statement in your journal and on the page of your image from Step 3, affirming your dedication to following through on your action plan. Keep this statement where you can see it daily as a reminder of your promise to yourself.

By performing this ritual, you are harnessing the powerful energy of the New Moon in Leo to set bold goals and clear the path towards achieving them. Embrace the vibrant vibes of Leo, boost your self-confidence, and let your inner light shine brightly. Remember, you have the power to manifest your dreams and make them a reality
