New moon in Taurus on May 15, 2018

That’s bull. There is nothing in the character of this zodiac sign that instills falseness or intent to mislead. The Taurean personality is one of loyalty, sentimentality and hardworking and secretly desires to lavish in bubble baths and Godiva chocolates for a job well done.

Its new moon time in the sign of Taurus and getting bullish means your ability to be stubborn will be off the charts. When used wisely, it’s called being tenacious. You will get things done, you will work hard and you will reap the rewards too. I love this kind of new moon because it can be the most success inducing of all the new moons. So dust off your plans and get to work! Be fully present in all you do and the results will please you very much.

The three muses of creativity

If you are like me, lack of clarity and focus leads to “oh shiny” moments and create a lot of false starts and wasted time. To help you avoid this pitfall, I recommend these three muses during your most demanding creative endeavors. Dab a little Jasmine Energetic oil on your wrists or put it in an oil diffuser near you. I find it very soothing to my mind and soul. Whenever my insecurities about my work creep in, the nurturing scent of Jasmine melt them away and I can get back to being my funny insightful self. To help me with my writing deadlines I light the New moon candle. Its sweet Honeysuckle scent is my favorite. I noticed that I really enjoyed writing and was not easily distracted. Listening to Buddha Bar on Pandora was icing on the cake. I also light the Goddess Affirmation candle for support from the magnetic feminine energy. I need to be very open and receptive to inspiration, love and joy. This is the goddesses’ superpower, so she became my third muse.
