Cosmic Chatter: Zodiac Signs and Their Gossip Styles Unveiled

Sitting around with a few fellow witches, we were comparing how our different astrological signs viewed gossip. Two of us Virgos were leading the conversation with the statement; “I observe and share my observations.” Hilarity ensued after that and we pegged each sign with their gossip philosophy:

Aries: "I'm not gossiping, I'm just sharing a breaking news story... that I may have embellished a bit."

Taurus: "I don't gossip, I just thoroughly analyze and discuss people's personal lives for hours on end."

Gemini: "I'm not talking behind your back, I'm just telling you what I plan to say to your face... eventually."

Cancer: "I only gossip because I care so much about you... and your drama fuels my emotional support system."

Leo: "I'm not gossiping, I'm just making sure everyone knows how fabulous I am by comparison."

Virgo: "I don't gossip, I merely share meticulously detailed observations about others' shortcomings."

Libra: "I'm not taking sides, I'm just carefully weighing all the gossip to maintain a balanced perspective."

Scorpio: "I'm not gossiping, I'm strategically releasing information to maintain my power and mystique."

Sagittarius: "I'm not gossiping, I'm just sharing my unfiltered opinions... which might accidentally reveal your secrets."

Capricorn: "It's not gossip if it's a well-documented fact that I can use to my advantage."

Aquarius: "I'm not gossiping, I'm just sharing groundbreaking insights that no one asked for or understands."

Pisces: "I'm not gossiping, I'm just creating an emotional connection by sharing other people's personal stories."

(Not being a professional astrologer, I apologize now if I got anything egregiously incorrect )

Once we pegged the signs, our conversation turned to how we magically deal with Gossip Stop. I was first to raise my hand and offer up the perfect candle solution with the Shut your Mouth candle - and then we went down the rabbit hole on ways to use this candle:

1. Place the unlit candle on the gossiper's desk as a clear message to cut that sh*t out - you have been unmasked as the offender
2. Inscribe the name of the gossiper onto the candle and light it. Send them a picture of the lit candle with the message - “IKYK” (I know you know)
3. Create a poppet with the mouth sewn shut and drip some of the wax from the lit candle onto the mouth to double-seal it
4. If you can’t prove who is gossiping about you - light the candle with “Protect me from gossip and stop it from spreading” inscribed on the candle
5. Draw a circle around an image of yourself and drip the Gossip Stop candle wax around the circle to be impervious to the gossip
6. Light the Gossip Stop candle and yell to it - “CUT THIS SH*T OUT!”
7. Get the On Ice Witches Union Spell Caster Club Card and do the spell with the Shut Your Mouth candle (see image below)

No matter your technique, the secret to a powerful spell to stop gossip is to:

1. Refrain from your own version of gossip. When you partake, you open the door for this to happen to you. 
2. Clear and cleanse your energy from hooks and drains that steal your energy and send you negativity
3. Confront the situation in the real world. When challenged, people will generally back down or retract. 
4. Hold your head high with the knowledge that you are greater than any of these words used against you
5. Create a new story in your heart and live it.
